Trevor T. Vallejo, MAI, joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2019 as a senior vice president in the Houston office, after eight years with JLL (fomerly Integra Realty Resources-Houston). Mr. Vallejo focuses on various appraisal and consulting services, including real property appraisals, right-of-way appraisals, appraisal review, specialized litigation support and expert witness testimony. Mr. Vallejo’s valuation and advisory experience extends across many property types, including office, retail, industrial, multi-family, mixed-use projects, self-storage, residential subdivisions, land and rural properties as well as numerous specialty property types. Valuations for right-of-way purposes include, but are not limited to, roadways, utility and pipeline corridors and easements. Clients range from institutional lenders to REITS, law firms, government entities and condemning authorities, among others. In a prior position as a property tax consultant, Mr. Vallejo represented commercial and residential property owners in assessed value protest hearings, including informal and formal hearings and testimony before various appraisal review boards.

Education
Mr. Vallejo is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in recreation, park and tourism sciences with a focus on tourism resources management. More recently, he successfully completed numerous real estate-related courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, accredited universities and others. He is currently certified by the Appraisal Institute’s voluntary program of continuing education for its designated members.
