Todd Anderson, President GCS Client Solutions, leads Newmark’s Global Corporate Services business development of new accounts. He has a successful track record of managing multiple Fortune 100 global accounts. A career global real estate professional, Mr. Anderson brings to his position more than 30 years of proactive, innovative, solutions-oriented and visionary leadership in delivering exceptional client service and results through integrated global corporate services.
Mr. Anderson has proven success in developing, executing and managing real estate strategies and delivering integrated solutions to align global real estate objectives with business goals. A dynamic and confident leader with compelling communication skills, Mr. Anderson has a track record of attracting, motivating and retaining high-performing individuals and teams.
Mr. Anderson has had direct account management and P/L responsibility for several Fortune 500 clients. These clients include: The Boeing Company in Seattle, with over 80 million square feet globally of office, industrial, and manufacturing facilities; Nokia Siemens Network in London, United Kingdom, where he on-boarded a team of over 250 professionals in 43 different countries for all service lines; and MFUG Union Bank N.A. in San Francisco, with a national portfolio of bank branches, data and call centers, and corporate offices.
Relying on his strong analytical and financial skills, Mr. Anderson strategically evaluates sophisticated business models, negotiates complex agreements and develops, interprets and presents proposed solutions. He has demonstrated experience delivering integrated services including strategy, occupancy planning, lease administration, transaction management, project management, facility management, energy management and vendor management with attention to detail in process, procedures and reporting.
Mr. Anderson is active in CoreNet Global. He teaches the longest continuous course in the MCR program, “Real Estate Transactions’ Impact on Corporate Financial Statements,” and has received CoreNet Global’s Top-Rated Faculty Award every year since 2000. He has also served on the board of directors and as president of the Southern California chapter.
Prior to Newmark, Mr. Anderson was a senior managing director in CBRE Group Inc.’s Global Corporate Services department, responsible for developing and managing global real estate client accounts. Additionally, he conducted global client roundtable presentations, internal corporate trainings, white papers, articles, global Webcast client presentations and CBRE University’s finance course curriculum.
Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota with a focus on finance, economics and history. He also has MCR, SLCR and CAS designations from CoreNet Global and a California real estate broker’s license.
