Tamar Moy joined Newmark in 2017 at the firm’s New York headquarters. She is an executive managing director of Newmark and lead workplace strategy & human experience in the northeast region. As a practicing strategist specializing in design and human experience for over 20 years, she has collaborated with companies of all sizes and industries to promote the power of place to influence people and enable business performance.
As part of the brokerage team, Ms. Moy has led workplace strategy efforts that have enhanced both the broker’s and client’s understanding of future workplace aspirations and needs. This rich qualification of the client’s desired workplace and real estate strategies has helped to guide the market search in dynamic and creative ways. Ms. Moy has conducted workplace strategy engagements of varying scope and size for clients in a broad range of industries including financial services, not for profit, technology, media, insurance and legal. Financial firm clients have most recently included Centerbridge, Clayton Dubilier & Rice, Investcorp, Roivant and Handelsbanken.
Prior to joining Newmark, Ms. Moy served as director of workplace strategy for Perkins Eastman. As the firm-wide leader for the corporate interiors workplace strategy practice, she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of pre- and post-design analysis and strategy development. In this capacity, Ms. Moy completed workplace projects for companies that included athenahealth, Bloomberg, Google and McGraw Hill Financial, among many others.
Previously, Ms. Moy served as senior workplace strategist and interior designer for HLW International, where she was responsible for delivering the full scope of workplace design and strategy to a diverse range of clients, including ABC News, Disney, Twitter and Univision. She also served for nearly 10 years as workplace consultant and interior designer for Gensler, where she completed consulting projects for 3M, The Boston Consulting Group and Ropes & Gray.

Education
Ms. Moy graduated with honors from Cornell University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in design and environmental analysis from one of the oldest and most premier workplace strategies programs in the country. In addition, she holds an interior design degree from the New York School of Interior Design.
