Stephen D. DuPlantis, MAI, joined Newark Knight Frank Valuation & Advisory in 2017 as an executive managing director and U.S. valuation & advisory co-lead to help drive the development of the firm’s new valuation practice.
Prior to Newmark, Mr. DuPlantis worked for 21 years as senior managing director of CBRE’s South Central Region, which comprised Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
Mr. DuPlantis’ commercial appraisal assignments have included multifamily, office, industrial and retail properties. He has also appraised numerous other special-purpose properties including senior care facilities, golf courses, self-storage facilities and hotels/motels.
Mr. DuPlantis holds the MAI designation of the Appraisal Institute and is currently an approved instructor for the organization. He has also served on numerous committees with the Appraisal Institute and other organizations during his career as a real estate appraiser.
