Stephanie Jennings serves as managing director of national research. In this capacity, Ms. Jennings is responsible for operational oversight of research and GIS functions. As one of the leaders of the firm’s tri-state research group, Ms. Jennings also manages a team of analysts to capture market data, identify trends and produce market reports and white papers. She is responsible for maintaining high standards of research, establishing best practices and supporting sales professionals’ efforts with existing clients and pursuits for new business.
Ms. Jennings joined Newmark in 2014 after working at the Alliance for Downtown New York, the nation’s largest business improvement district, which serves Lower Manhattan. As vice president for economic development, Ms. Jennings was responsible for economic and real estate market research, producing market reports for the Lower Manhattan market. Her work supported the strategic leasing decisions of tenants, brokers and property owners. Ms. Jennings also represented the organization on broker committees of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and at International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) trade shows.
Prior to joining the Downtown Alliance, Ms. Jennings spent five years managing government grants and contracts with private property owners for affordable housing communities in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Florida.
Ms. Jennings holds a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts degree in urban studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
