Sean O’Connor serves as an analyst in the Whippany, New Jersey, office of Newmark Valuation & Advisory, which covers Northern and Central New Jersey. Sean is actively engaged in a variety of projects that include valuing vacant land for conservation/preservation, various easements for utility and recreational use, and a variety of income-producing and owner-occupied commercial and industrial buildings for financial institutions, pension funds and life insurance companies.
Prior to joining Newmark, Sean worked in the education field as a curriculum director and a teacher. Previously, he worked as a field inspector for a local tax revaluation firm.
Education
Sean earned a Master of Arts degree in teaching from Montclair State University in 2011 and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Rowan University in 2009.
Sean also completed applicable coursework on a number of topics including economics, statistics and accounting.
