Scott Worrell joined Newmark in 2018 and currently serves as a managing director in the company’s Denver office. A 20-year corporate real estate veteran, Mr. Worrell has successfully represented tenants in over 5 million square feet of lease and sale transactions. He has represented clients in most industry verticals, including professional services, telecommunications, energy, technology and non-profits.
Prior to Newmark, Mr. Worrell served as managing principal for Cresa Denver, where he was an owner and directed the growth of the Denver office. During his tenure there, he doubled the number of employees, tripled top-line revenues and substantially increased margins. Prior to that, Mr. Worrell was an associate director at Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Worrell has been a consistent top performer and has always enjoyed some of the highest reviews in client satisfaction surveys.
Active in the Denver philanthropic community, Mr. Worrell has served on numerous non-profit boards. He currently serves on the Goodwill board of directors and on its finance and audit committee. Additionally, Mr. Worrell has volunteered as a Big Brother through Big Brothers Big Sisters for over 20 years and regularly volunteers for Wish of a Lifetime. He resides in Denver with his two teenage children.
