Scott R. Kling has joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2019 as a vice president in the Chicago/Suburban office, after Newmark acquired Real Valuation Group.
Actively engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 1993, Scott has successfully completed valuations on various proposed, partially completed, renovated and existing structures, including retail, office and industrial properties. Scott also has extensive experience preparing valuations of special-use properties, including agricultural operations, agronomy centers and farm land. His valuations have been used for condemnation purposes, estates, financing and due diligence support.
Scott’s clients have included accountants, investment firms, law firms, lenders, private and public agencies. He has also worked with numerous conservation and open land agencies to preserve farmland and open space areas through the utilization of conservation easements at both the state and federal level.
Prior to Newmark, Scott worked for more than 15 years with RVG, LLC as a senior appraiser. Prior to RVGLLC, Scott worked as an appraiser with Neil Steffens & Associates.

Scott earned a Masters of Arts degree from Aurora University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Western Illinois University. More recently, he successfully completed numerous real estate-related courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute and others.
