Ryan Melzer joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2017 and currently serves as an Executive Vice President in the Phoenix office. Melzer has appraised a broad range of property types, including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, shopping centers, self storage facilities, car dealerships, restaurants, assisted living facilities, religious facilities, schools, vacant land and right-of-way.
In January 2017, Melzer was appointed to the Arizona State Board of Equalization, a quasi-judicial agency that hears appeals of assessed property valuations and classifications for taxing purposes in the state of Arizona.
Prior to joining Newmark, Melzer served for more than 20 years as an appraiser with KS Appraisal, where he gained extensive experience in appraising a wide variety of real estate.
