Rob Ferguson serves as a director with Newmark Knight Frank’s Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group in the Raleigh office. Mr. Ferguson focuses on originating new loan opportunities in the FHA-insured multifamily and healthcare sector. He also works to originate Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and CMBS loans. Mr. Ferguson joined Newmark Knight Frank’s predecessor company in 2016 and brings diverse experience to his position, having spent the last 15 years in insurance analytics and risk management.
Previously, Mr. Ferguson analyzed insurance risks for corporations of various sizes. As part of this role, he and his team implemented a variety of risk management strategies to protect and enhance the overall business and succession plan for owners across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Mr. Ferguson is involved with the National Multifamily Housing Council, National Investment Center, Southeast Mortgage Advisory Council, North Carolina Association of Long Term Facilities and Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors.
Mr. Ferguson earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and marketing from Old Dominion University.
