Pete Hoover is a transaction manager for Newmark’s Affordable Housing Group. His responsibilities include business development, valuation, financial modeling, and marketing. Mr. Hoover works to develop relationships with clients, including developers, syndicators, and direct Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investors, and regularly consults clients on disposition strategies involving LIHTC and Project-Based Section 8 properties. He is also responsible for overseeing the analytical team’s underwriting of the Affordable Housing Group’s listings, and other ad-hoc apartment market analysis. Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Hoover worked as a financial analyst for an international real estate firm, and for a national tax, audit and valuation firm, where he contributed to market studies and appraisals for LIHTC and Section 8 properties across the nation.
