Paul V. Ippolito is an Executive Vice President at Newmark and is considered one of real estate’s leading expert.
Ippolito manages the deployment of the group’s strategic outsourcing services, including account and transaction management, and operations consulting, in pursuit of his clients’ unique organizational objectives. He has represented several national and international corporate accounts, including NASDAQ Inc., Allied World Assurance Company, Avaya Inc., BMG, Computershare, DoubleClick, The League Education and Treatment Center, Nuance Communications, On Deck Capital, Shoot Digital, Shutterstock Images and SunGard. Since joining Newmark as a partner in 1991, Ippolito has completed transactions in excess of 10 million square feet.
Ippolito has significant experience managing complex headquarters transactions for corporations based in New York City. His notable transactions include Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Northwestern Mutual, BMG, DoubleClick, Facebook, Gilt Groupe, Jupiter Media, SunGard and Weight Watchers International. For these transactions, he provided creative solutions demonstrating both ingenuity and flexibility, while balancing market and time constraints in support of clients’ goals.
In addition to his tenant representation experience, Ippolito has successfully represented landlords in the leasing and repositioning of buildings in excess of 5 million square feet since the start of his career. Some of these buildings include 1501 Broadway, 330 West 42nd Street, 505 Eighth Avenue, 535 and 545 Fifth Avenue and 19 West 44th Street.
Furthermore, Ippolito’s experience includes acting as the principal for all domestic transactions for Avaya Inc.’s global portfolio, comprising more than 7.7 million square feet and 300 locations worldwide. Most recently, he has executed various transactions throughout the United States for major projects including acquisitions, build-out work, consolidations, negotiations and incentive evaluation.
Prior to joining Newmark, Ippolito served at Abramson Brothers Real Estate, Inc., where he worked directly with President Alan Abramson. Before he began his career in real estate, Ippolito spent eight years with LDA Publishers.
