Paul M. Colella, SCGREA, joined Newmark Knight Frank Valuation & Advisory as a vice president in 2019. Based in the company’s Whippany, New Jersey, office, Mr. Colella brings to his position nine years of commercial real estate valuation and consulting experience.
Mr. Colella is actively engaged in a wide range of commercial and industrial real estate appraisal and consulting assignments. He has performed appraisals on a wide variety of property types, including full- and limited-service hotels and motels; office and industrial buildings; estates; retail properties; special-purpose properties; multifamily developments and subdivisions; and land development analysis. Assignments include litigation consultation, commercial mortgage financing and estate tax valuation, acquisition/disposition analysis.
Prior to NKF, Mr. Colella served as a senior appraiser with CBRE Valuation & Advisory Services in Saddle Brook, New Jersey.

Mr. Colella earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from William Paterson University. In addition to the general requirements (300 hours) for obtaining his SCGREA license, Mr. Colella has completed the following advanced Appraisal Institute courses:

- Advanced Income Capitalization Approach
- Advanced Concepts and Case Studies
Mr. Colella also regularly attends seminars, lectures and classes to keep up to date on issues affecting the appraisal field and real estate industry in general.
