Senior Managing Director Paul Davidson has served at Newmark for over 30 years. In this capacity, he has maintained long-term relationships with a myriad of prestigious companies he has represented, including Continental Stock Transfer & Trust, Forest Electric, HBO, Lexis Nexis, Medallion Financial, Self Help Community Services, Steve Madden Ltd., Theory LLC Tourneau, Unum Provident, Weitz & Luxenberg and the historic Masonic Hall located at 71 West 23rd Street. Mr. Davidson’s vast experience and intimate knowledge of the marketplace have become an integral part of the decision-making process for a wide variety of clients-both past and present.
In 1994, Davidson was awarded the Real Estate Board of New York’s Ingenious Deal of the Year award for the leasing of 80,000 square feet at 220 West 58th Street to the New York City Board of Education, for which he has also successfully completed a number of other major transactions. In 2003, he successfully brokered the sale of 48 East 57th Street and 12 East 52nd Street.
- In 2008, Davidson represented Weitz & Luxenberg in its purchase of 700 Broadway.
- In 2017, Davidson represented the ownership of 250 West 54th Street in its selling of the asset.
- Most recently,Davidson completed transactions on behalf of Amsterdam Hospitality Group, Empire Office Furniture and Self Help Community Services.
A dedicated member of his community, Davidson serves on the board of The Creative Arts Workshop for Kids and is a foundation board member of Self Help Community Services. He is also the President of his Westhampton Beach Cooperative and serves on the committee for the annual Sid Jacobson Golf Outing. Davidson is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
