As senior vice president and senior managing director with the Retail Occupier Services group of Newmark Global Corporate Services, Paul Bower is responsible for the delivery of integrated services to retailers. He brings to his position more than 25 years of field and national corporate management experience and a proven track record of leading brand growth and expansions, successfully executing development initiatives and building strong partner relationships in both large and established and small and entrepreneurial environments.
Mr. Bower joined Newmark in 2014, after more than 20 years of increasing growth and responsibility with McDonalds Corporation. During his tenure there, he served as a real estate representative, real estate manager, divisional/home office director of real estate, senior director of business development and vice president of Donatos Pizza and Redbox, two wholly owned subsidiaries of McDonald’s.
Mr. Bower was also a founding member of Redbox and original member of its management team, which rapidly scaled the concept to several thousand locations and a successful spin-off to outside investment. While at McDonald’s Corporation, Mr. Bower received the President’s Award, presented to the top 1.0% of global employees.
Subsequent to his tenure at McDonalds Corporation and the sale of Redbox, Paul was senior vice president and chief development officer at Cosi, Inc. and senior vice president of real estate development for Bob Evans Farms, Inc. As a member of the leadership team in both organizations, he was responsible for real estate expansion, asset management, franchise sales, design and construction, and facilities management.
Mr. Bower holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University.
