Patrick Allen joined Newmark in 2017 as an investment sales associate in the Seattle office, where he specializes in retail property investments as a member of the Sleeth Retail Investments Team. The team focuses exclusively on retail investments in the Pacific Northwest, with a particular focus on the greater Puget Sound region of Washington State. Since joining the team, Mr. Allen has been directly involved in the closing of more than $400 million in retail investment sales volume. His work begins with lead generation and ends with the closed transaction.
Mr. Allen joined Newmark after seven years in Silicon Valley as an entrepreneur. After bootstrapping his first venture to profitability, he raised venture capital for a second venture, Groopt, and grew the company to support more than 500,000 users across all 50 states. Mr. Allen built and scaled the sales team that was responsible for closing more than 4,000 individual transactions, accounting for millions in sales revenue. Groopt was acquired in 2016.
