Myuren Chanthirakumar joined Newmark Knight Frank Valuation and Advisory in 2019 as an analyst for the Valuation & Advisory practice. Myuren supports the Valuation & Advisory practice in Toronto and Calgary through the collection and analysis of data in order to formulate an opinion of the market value of real estate for the purposes of mortgage underwriting, acquisition/disposition, dispute resolution, portfolio analysis and estate purposes.
Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Myuren began his career in the commercial real estate industry at Cushman & Wakefield, where he served on the portfolio administration team within Global Occupier Services. He was responsible for providing accurate data and timely insight into the client’s real estate holdings and leases, which allowed management to confidently build strategy and make informed decisions.
Licenses and Designations
Myuren is a member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) and an AIC Candidate. He is currently enrolled in the Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation program developed by the University of British Columbia and AIC. Myuren will receive his AACI designation upon completion of the program.
Myuren earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree in economics and management science from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University.
