Maury Zanoff serves as a vice chairman with Newmark, co-managing the firm’s Mid-Atlantic debt and structured finance business and growing the national platform. Mr. Zanoff has over 24 years of institutional experience, having executed more than $50 billion in equity and debt deals throughout his career.
Mr. Zanoff previously worked for CBRE, where he and Mr. Donato were vice chairmen and formed one of the company’s top capital markets teams, executing more than $20 billion of equity and debt deals across the country. During their tenure, Mr. Zanoff and Mr. Donato both ranked as Top 10 producers nationally from 2004 to 2013.
Prior to CBRE, Mr. Zanoff worked for Clark in Bethesda, MD, where he structured joint venture equity, debt, and developed bond offerings for large public-private projects and military housing privatizations. He was previously an associate for Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, and a financial analyst with Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Funds [Archon Group]. Mr. Zanoff began his career at CRIIMI MAE, as an underwriter supporting development of a CMBS lending platform and acquiring B-pieces. He attended Georgetown University.
