Matt Saunders, Vice Chairman, assists clients in the disposition of institutional and non-institutional assets, handling all aspects of the marketing process including pricing strategies, valuation/modeling and negotiation and closing. Saunders has been involved in over $12 billion of multifamily transactions since joining Newmark in 2012.
Over the past twelve years, Saunders has been recognized as a leader in the industry based on his experience in the Houston multi-housing real estate market. He is a four-time recipient of the “Heavy Hitter’s Award,” given by the Houston Business Journal to the top Investment Brokers in the city. He is also a five-time recipient of the “Power Broker Award,” given by CoStar to recognize the best of the best in Houston sales transaction volume.
Education
Saunders received his Master of Business Administration from the Jones School of Management at Rice University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University.
