Matt Mense is an executive managing director with Newmark Knight Frank’s Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group in the Bethesda office. A 15-year commercial real estate finance veteran, Mr. Mense specializes in GSE lending. In his role as a producer and head of wholesale origination, Mr. Mense is responsible for the origination and structuring of multifamily loans through the company’s Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA programs. He has been responsible for the production of more than $6.5 billion in transaction volume since 2014, when he joined NKF’s production team. Previously, Mr. Mense was a deputy chief underwriter and held a variety of roles within the firm’s underwriting, origination and trading departments. He joined Newmark Knight Frank’s predecessor in 2003.
Mr. Mense received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the College of William and Mary.
