Since 1994, Mark Leary has focused exclusively on the disposition and acquisition of multifamily assets located in Northern California. In that time, he closed in excess of $5.0 billion in transactions. Mr. Leary specializes in the sale of large institutional multifamily assets as well as land for development of new multifamily projects and his geographic market expertise is comprised of the Bay Area, Sacramento and the Central Valley markets. He has sold all types of multifamily assets ranging from newly built class A assets, value-add assets. condominium conversions, distressed vacant assets, and land for multifamily development. He has been involved in over 400 multifamily transactions, since his first sale of a 10 unit boarded up REO for American Savings.
Mr. Leary is a fourth generation Californian and a third generation real estate broker. He is a member of NMHC and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado.
