Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mark Cipriani is responsible for the oversight of timely and efficient financial reporting for clients of Newmark in the U.S. and globally. Mr. Cipriani is responsible for all aspects of the client accounting function, including the implementation of accounting policies and procedures, the review of monthly financial reports prior to release to clients, and directing the hiring and training of personnel.
Mr. Cipriani oversees and coordinates all property management and corporate facility management accounting activities. These include accounts payable, accounts receivable and all related tasks involved in the preparation of financial statements. He is also responsible for enforcing Newmark’s comprehensive system of internal controls nationally.
Mr. Cipriani has more than 32 years of experience in real estate. Prior to his present position with the company, he served as regional controller for the Eastern region. Before coming to Newmark, he served as assistant corporate controller for Oxford Development Company, a regional real estate development/property management firm.
