Lee J. Brodsky joined Newmark in 2006 at the firm’s Manhattan headquarters. Mr. Brodsky specializes in corporate and tenant advisory services, strategic planning and national corporate account and portfolio management. He works directly with Chief Executive Officer Barry Gosin, whose clients include some of the largest corporate real estate users in the country. Mr. Brodsky has established a reputation within the industry as a dedicated market analyst and multi-market corporate advisor.
In addition to Mr. Brodsky’s commercial office experience, he serves as an advisor to some of the nation’s largest retail corporations. He is responsible for overseeing hundreds of retail locations, assisting retailers with site selection, lease management, buy-outs and terminations and overall portfolio management. Prior to joining the firm, he gained several years of experience in real estate property management, leasing services and the security industry. As a principal of real estate, he has a comprehensive understanding of both tenant and owner perspective, allowing him to successfully implement effective strategic planning methods for his clients.
Mr. Brodsky is a recognized expert in the representation of national corporations as well as law and accounting firms. He has served as an advisor to such notable clients as Barneys New York; BelHealth Investment Partners; Brand Connections; Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co., LLC.; Capital One Bank; Creative Artists Agency; Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group; Fensterstock & Partners LLP; Greenfield Stein & Senior LLP; Herman Katz Cangemi and Clyne; Louis Berger Group; Marcum LLP; Mobile Health Management Services; Norton Rose Fulbright; Starwood Hotels and Resort; Sandata Technologies; and Stripes Group.
In 2008, Mr. Brodsky’s talent and drive were recognized when he received Newmark’s Associate Broker of the Year award, which acknowledges the top broker with less than five years of experience. In 2011, he was appointed to Newmark’s Young Leadership Council, an honor that had been extended to him based on his extraordinary achievement and contribution to the firm’s success. As a council member, Mr. Brodsky mentors junior brokers, leads business development programs and advises the firm’s executive operating committee on brokerage initiatives. Further distinguishing his leadership, Mr. Brodsky is a featured guest speaker at the HSBC Legacy Program for emerging entrepreneurs.

Mr. Brodsky earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he concentrated in organizational management, consulting and real estate. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in New York State.
