As national director of project management and regional director of engineering for Newmark’s Property Management practice, Kris Weideman is a broadly skilled real estate executive with more than 31 years of commercial real estate experience. He is a focal point for our clients and internal market leaders. Mr. Weideman’s career encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and experiences including institutional clients and corporate occupiers. His engineering, project management and facilities background experience provides him with a unique perspective for success.
As national director of project management, Mr. Weideman actively manages Newmark’s project management program with a client focus on saving time, saving money and reducing risk.
Prior to joining Newmark in 2003 as director of engineering, Mr. Weideman was the regional director of engineering for 10 years with Dallas-based Prentiss Properties, a national REIT. During his tenure at Prentiss, he developed many key programs and strong client relationships while implementing best-in-class practices and reducing operating expenses.
Mr. Weideman’s primary objective is to develop and maintain a climate of achievement that benefits our clients, motivates our employees and fosters a high level of management excellence.

Mr. Weideman graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business.
