Kent P. Brustlin, MAI, is a first vice president in the Allentown office of Newmark’s Valuation & Advisory practice. Mr. Brustlin directs the operations of this office, which primarily covers the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area and northeast Pennsylvania.
Mr. Brustlin specializes in appraisals, portfolio valuations and market feasibility studies. He also provides clients with acquisition/disposition counseling and litigation support in connection with real estate transactions.
Actively engaged in real estate valuation and consulting since 1992, Mr. Brustlin has prepared valuations and market studies on proposed, partially completed, renovated and existing structures. These include office buildings, shopping centers, power centers, warehouses, distribution centers, multi-family residences, vacant land mixed-use properties. He is also qualified as an expert witness before various judicial bodies.
Mr. Brustlin’s clients have included life insurance companies and pension fund advisors; banks, mortgage lenders and other financial institutions; real estate developers and investors; law firms; businesses; and government agencies. He has assisted them with, or performed on their behalf, valuations for tax appeals, condemnation purposes, financing, equity participation and due diligence support.

Education
Mr. Brustlin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Muhlenberg College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was an active member and Committee Chair of the College’s Alumni Board from 2009-2016. Additionally, he has successfully completed numerous real estate and valuation courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, accredited universities and others.
