Justin Kaufmann is a director with Newmark Knight Frank in Denver, where he focuses exclusively on single-tenant net-lease investment sales. A nine-year corporate real estate veteran, Mr. Kaufmann’s experience includes retail, office and industrial transactions spanning 19 states, including portfolio sale-leaseback transactions for nationally recognized brands. In addition to asset acquisition and disposition, Mr. Kaufmann’s core services include 1031 exchange transactions, sale-leasebacks, portfolio analysis and optimization, valuation analysis, build-to-suit consultation and services, programmatic capital structuring solutions for developers and tenants, and capital markets advisory.
Prior to joining NKF in 2017, Mr. Kaufmann was a broker in Chicago with JLL and Colliers International; he held leadership roles in the net lease practice groups of both firms. Mr. Kaufmann began his brokerage career as an acquisitions and deal-structuring specialist with a private equity investment group.
