JR Tomlinson is a managing director in Newmark’s Dallas office with more than 29 years of experience in commercial real estate and strategic alignment of corporate real estate operations for companies in North America. Ms. Tomlinson has built a career on representing global corporate clients and providing them with expertise in corporate relocation, consolidation, acquisition, disposition, integration, build-to-suits, financial analysis, strategic planning and evaluation of portfolios pertaining to corporate growth and profitability.
Throughout her real estate career, Ms. Tomlinson has managed numerous multimillion-dollar transactions for Fortune 500 clients. Her experience in financing, equity investments, strategic planning, and negotiations has created more than $50 million in savings for clients from transactions valued in excess of $600 million. Ms. Tomlinson’s expertise also includes working and negotiating with economic development departments and site selection.
Ms. Tomlinson joined Newmark in 2018, upon the firm’s acquisition of acclaimed tenant representation firm Jackson Cooksey. Prior to joining Jackson Cooksey in 1987, she worked as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith, Inc.
