Joseph Ferranti, MAI, joined Newmark’s Valuation & Advisory services in 2018 and currently serves as a senior managing director in the company’s New York headquarters. A 20-year industry veteran, Mr. Ferranti has successfully completed appraisals for a wide variety of property types, including existing and proposed industrial, office, retail, apartments (cooperative and condominium) and mixed use.
Mr. Ferranti joined Newmark after serving as a vice president for eight years with CBRE, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Ferranti was responsible for a wide variety of appraisal work, which included market rent studies and feasibility reports as well as appraisal review.
Prior to CBRE, Inc., Mr. Ferranti was a director for eight years with Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory group. As a member of the multifamily appraisal team, he played an integral role in appraisals of some of the most prominent residential buildings in New York City.
Prior to his tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Ferranti was a staff appraiser at Emigrant Funding Corporation for three years and Jamaica Savings Bank for two years.
