John C. Vaughan, MAI, currently serves as a senior vice president and leader of the Vineyards & Wineries specialty practice in the San Jose, California, office of Newmark Valuation & Advisory. With a career that spans more than 30 years, John has completed appraisal and consulting assignments for a wide variety of real estate throughout California and all four of the major Hawaiian Islands. John has extensive experience appraising Class A office buildings, shopping centers, oceanfront resorts and resort-oriented retail properties as well as leasehold interests and complex assignments. The intended use of these assignments has included corporate advisory, disposition, acquisition, rent arbitration, tax appeal and mortgage lending.
