John C. Kinsella serves as a senior managing director in Newmark Knight Frank’s Chicago office. Specializing in tenant advisory services, Mr. Kinsella not only represents tenants in the Chicagoland market but also works with large companies on their multi-market office requirements. He brings to his position 20 years of experience and has expertise representing office tenants with all aspects of their office needs including relocations, renewals, expansions, contractions, acquisitions, subleases, sales, long-term real estate planning and implementation, as well as with lease negotiations and the restructuring of existing leases.
Since joining Newmark Knight Frank, John Kinsella has initiated and closed over 425 leases, sales and subleases with total consideration of more than $750 million. Clients have included Fortune 500 firms, start-ups, staffing firms and secondary education institutions.
In 2006, 2008, 2011 and 2012, Mr. Kinsella received NKF’s Service Excellence Awards, which are reserved for the top 5% of performers across the country. He is one of the founding sponsors for the DePaul Real Estate Center and a member of the March of Dimes Fox SportsNet Committee.

Mr. Kinsella is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from DePaul University’s Kellstadt School of Business in 2000 and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University in 1992.
