Jesse Heathcock is a senior managing director and account lead in Retail Occupier Services (ROS), a specialty practice within Newmark’s Global Corporate Services, and is responsible for building and managing teams that deliver integrated service delivery for global retail occupier accounts across all suites:
- Retail Strategic Planning
- Transaction and Asset Management
- Project Management
As a manager and director, Mr. Heathcock brings to his position nearly 20 years of retail real estate strategic planning and transaction management experience. His unique background, which includes GIS, sales forecasting model implementation, renewal and de novo transaction management, and nearly 10 years of leading groups though large-scale rollouts, provides his clients a wealth of expertise to assist them in tackling any project.
Mr. Heathcock joined Newmark’s ROS group in 2017 from JLL’s Retail Corporate Services group, where he most recently served a senior vice president. For most of his tenure at JLL, Mr. Heathcock served as the primary retail transaction management lead on the firm’s T-Mobile account. He was also involved with leading and/or executing transactions for a number of other clients, including Bally Total Fitness, Bar Louie, Carvana, Darden, HSBC, Smashburger and United Healthcare.
Prior to JLL, Mr. Heathcock managed a large territory for new store development at Brinker International. He previously led the company’s Asset Management group, where he developed a BI tool that led to effective negotiations and internal approvals. Prior to that, he worked in strategic development, where he helped implement sales forecasting tools that accurately measured pipeline risk, allowing Brinker to expand its aggressive rollout of its restaurant chains. Mr. Heathcock began his career at Brinker, as a sales analyst known for creating innovative executive level reporting that was frequently used on earnings calls.
Mr. Heathcock earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing and product/brand management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
