Ignacio Errazuriz joined Newmark in 2017 and was promoted to Managing Director shortly after. In this role, he leads the team in charge of Tenant Representation, Investment Sales and Capital Markets, Transaction Management, Valuation and Research, Asset and Portfolio Management, Real Estate Development advisory, and Project and Facility Management, also acting as the POC with Newmark, globally.
In charge of Newmark’s local exclusive representation, Mr. Errazuriz represents prominent international clients, including Alcon and Novartis in Chile and Ecuador, Dow, Albemarle, Scor, Hitachi-Vantara, Colfax, WSP, Here, Mattel, Schroders, Eni, and WeWork, among others.
Mr. Errazuriz has more than seven years of experience in real estate and urban studies. Before Newmark, he advised Cushman & Wakefield South Cone, the CChC –a national-based trade association and whose members represent over 75% of Chile’s construction and real estate GDP–, Walmart on behalf of ATP Desarrollo, and CRE Developers, conducting highest and best use studies and BOVs, using both traditional cash flow analysis and Argus Altus Enterprise. Previously, Mr. Errazuriz worked as a Business Development Specialist at Crystal Lagoons and as a Senior urban analyst at CChC.
Mr. Errazuriz attended Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, where he earned an MSc in Urban Design and Bachelor of Architecture. He recently completed the General Business Studies Certificate with Concentration in Real Estate offered by UCLA Extension, focusing on commercial real estate. All degrees were awarded with distinction.
He has lived in Los Angeles, CA, and Washington, DC, USA. A native Spanish speaker, Mr. Errazuriz, is also fluent in English. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Global Association for Corporate Real Estate (Corenet Global).
