Guy Engelman joined Newmark Valuation & Advisory in 2019 and currently serves as vice president in the practice’s newly opened Southern New Jersey office, which serves the Philadelphia metropolitan region.
Actively engaged in real estate valuation since 2007, Guy most recently served as senior valuation specialist for the Philadelphia office of Colliers International Valuation and Advisory Services. Prior to that, he worked at Joseph J. Blake & Associates, Inc. as a senior appraiser based in Manhattan.
Guy has completed a variety of assignments in the northeastern United States, primarily in the Philadelphia and New York metropolitan regions. He has a wide range of appraisal experience that includes Class A office parks and several of the largest industrial properties and business parks in the Northeast. Guy has also been involved in assignments that provided international clients with specialized consultancy reports that included marketability studies and highest and best use analyses on proposed large-scale mixed-use developments. Clients have included banks, lenders, developers, investment firms, law firms and non-profit organizations. Property types appraised include office buildings, apartment buildings and complexes, commercial condominiums, retail, land and specialty use properties.

Education
Guy earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Elliot School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. More recently, he has successfully completed numerous real estate and valuation courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, accredited universities and others.
