Gloria Pichardo joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2018 and brings with her almost 20 years of retail real estate site selection, management and strategic planning experience. Ms. Pichardo began her real estate career as a coordinator and rose through the ranks to become national director. This progression gave Ms. Pichardo an appreciation for the efforts of all team members and insight into how effective real estate departments function. She also gained insight into how to successfully manage teams and execute strategy from concept to completion.
Ms. Pichardo worked nationally for Arby’s, Caribou Coffee, Connect Hearing, Panda Express, Papa John’s Pizza and T-Mobile. As a real estate manager for these prestigious companies, she worked on traditional in-line shopping environments, regional malls and ground-up developments as well as non-traditional rollouts in complex environments such as universities, tollways and airports. As a senior director, Ms. Pichardo crafted strategic plans for location deployment and created standards and guidelines for site selection, store design and fleet management.

Ms. Pichardo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and philosophy with a minor in women’s studies from Loyola University of Chicago.
