George Wisecarver is a managing director with Newmark Knight Frank’s Multifamily Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance group in the Bethesda office. Mr. Wisecarver brings to his position 10 years of real estate experience, which draws from the ownership and lending sides of the business, and 17 years of financial services industry experience. Since 2014, Mr. Wisecarver has worked with Executive Managing Director Steven Leitch to originate $2.5 billion in multifamily loans.
Mr. Wisecarver joined Newmark Knight Frank’s predecessor firm in 2010, after serving as an associate with ASB Capital Management. In this position, he acted as an asset manager of multifamily, office, retail and industrial properties. Prior to earning his MBA, Mr. Wisecarver worked for Brown Brothers Harriman and Vista Research.
Mr. Wisecarver earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from Dartmouth College. While attending Dartmouth, Mr. Wisecarver played on the varsity lacrosse team and served as co-captain during his senior year.
