Francis Saele joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2016 and currently serves as executive managing director of the company’s global lease administration business. In this role, Mr. Saele oversees all elements of service delivery and client relationship management as well as sales and marketing.
Mr. Saele brings to his position over 20 years of lease administration experience, most recently with CBRE, where he served as managing director - portfolio services (lease administration). He began work in lease administration at his own firm, Westmark Harris Lease Advisors, which was acquired by CBRE in 2004 after six years as a client. Mr. Saele pioneered the development of process management technology in lease administration including workflow, data validation and cost savings tools designed to improve and standardize the quality of work, productivity analysis and timeliness of service delivery. This resulted in a virtually paperless work environment. He also led initiatives to functionalize lease administration work, the offshoring of lease abstraction and other data-related functions and the adoption of telework to secure the best-qualified staff regardless of their physical location.
Previously, Mr. Saele served as vice president and partner with two firms in the industrial and office development business in the Midwest and Southeast U.S. His initial experience in real estate was in corporate real estate for a New York-based thrift institution.
Significant prior client relationships include Accenture, Avaya, Boeing, Cigna, Dow, Energizer, Fifth Third Bank, Goodyear, John Deere, Morgan Stanley, Nationwide, Nielsen, Nike, Royal Bank of Canada, Starbucks and TIAA.
