David Garonzik joined the Newmark Knight Frank’s Capital Markets team at the Center City Philadelphia office. Mr. Garonzik comes with nearly 18 years of experience in the areas of asset management, acquisitions, financing, leasing, development and strategic planning of office and multihousing properties. He uses his vast industry knowledge to secure leads, underwrite Capital Markets listings and oversee the preparation of financial projections and market-leading collateral such as offering memorandums, listing proposals and broker’s opinions of value.
Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Garonzik was the director of asset management for The Buccini/Pollin Group, a privately held company that has acquired or developed real estate assets in excess of $4.0 billion, including 36 hotels, 6 million square feet of office and retail space, 10 major residential communities and multiple entertainment venues. Mr. Garonzik was responsible for oversight of the organization’s portfolio of over 1,000 residential units and 5 million square feet of commercial office space located in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
Prior to The Buccini/Pollin Group, Mr. Garonzik was the assistant vice president of acquisitions and portfolio management for the Keystone Property Group, where he was responsible for the financial success of Philadelphia office assets totaling more than 1.5 million square feet and over $35 million in annual revenue. In addition, he oversaw the execution of over $90 million in leasing transactions and $70 million in debt and capital transactions.
Mr. Garonzik earned his master’s in business administration degree in 2009 from Villanova University’s School of Business. He graduated in 2000 from Boston University with a double major in economics and international relations.
