As Newmark Knight Frank’s director of management services for Chicago, Craig Cudzilo is responsible for overseeing the delivery of client services to more than 2.7 million square feet of commercial real estate and implementing best practices, policies and procedures to maximize the value of his clients’ real estate assets. He has extensive knowledge of overall property operations, value-add management strategies and forward-thinking solutions for operational excellence. He is also responsible for business development to maximize growth and profitability for the region.
Mr. Cudzilo joined NKF after serving nearly 10 years in the United States Army as an engineer officer and 13 years providing real estate services and solutions to a variety of clients. Throughout his professional career, he has demonstrated an ability to develop, train and lead diverse teams, first as a platoon leader and headquarters commander stationed in Hanau, Germany, and then as a commander of the largest engineer company in the United States Army. As company commander, Mr. Cudzilo’s leadership was integral to the successful training of more than 4,900 soldiers and officers annually through basic military engineering and explosives, with oversight of $48 million worth of facility and equipment. He began his commercial real estate career in 2006, applying his engineering and military experience to unique and challenging positions at JLL, Behringer Harvard, CBRE and Lincoln Property Company.
Throughout his career, Mr. Cudzilo has worked on assignments for such notable clients as American Express, ComEd, Motorola Solutions and USPS. He also served as the general manager for the Chicago Stock Exchange building. He continues to serve as an advisor to P4S, helping multiple companies better integrate leading-edge security technology with real estate and facilities management. Mr. Cudzilo earned a Masters of Engineering Management degree from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now ) and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
