Chuck Johanns currently serves as a Senior Managing Director in Newmark Knight Frank’s (NKF) Downtown Chicago office. With over 25 years of experience representing clients in dispositions, equity raising, recapitalizations and underwriting in the multifamily industry, Chuck has executed transactions valued over $3 billion throughout his career.
Chuck joined NKF’s Multifamily Capital Markets group in 2020, after serving as a Senior Director for six years at JLL, co-leading the Midwest Multifamily Investment Sales team representing owners in the sale of multifamily assets and handling equity raise assignments on behalf of developers and owner/operators. Prior to JLL, Chuck’s experience includes over 12 years as a Principal at Trammell Crow Company and serving as a Managing Director at Houlihan Capital.
