Carrie C. Lee is a vice president at the New York office of Newmark Valuation & Advisory. An industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Lee entered the real estate appraisal and valuation area in 2007. In her current role, Ms. Lee prepares narrative appraisal reports for intended uses that include lending decisions, asset management, dispute resolution, condemnation, financing reporting and estate planning. Her consulting activity includes cash flow projections, market and feasibility analysis, due diligence, lease abstracting and data collection and analysis. Ms. Lee draws upon her early career as a paralegal with a background in transactions, civil litigation and corporate real estate to provide clients with the level of expertise required to address their valuation and real estate-related issues.
Ms. Lee’s previous assignments include office buildings, multi- and single-family residential properties, co-operative shares, condominiums, vacant land and development sites, warehouse and factories, mixed use and retail buildings. Her subject assignments have consisted of domestic and international properties in diverse locations and specialized property types such as institutional, casinos, hotels, theaters and waterfront real estate.
Immediately prior to her real estate appraisal and valuation training, Ms. Lee worked as a real estate consultant for lending institutions and real estate developers. She acquired comprehensive real estate knowledge through residential and commercial transactional work, commercial mortgage underwriting and banking operations including managing collateral release, flood certifications and UCC-filing maintenance.

Ms. Lee holds a Master of Science degree in real estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from Simmons College, n/k/a Simmons University. She successfully completed the Legal Assistant Program at Syracuse University and continuing education courses provided by the Appraisal Institute, the Columbia Society of Real Estate Appraisers Inc., the Real Estate Institute, the American Society of Appraisers, Manfred Real Estate, the American Bar Association, Seton Hall Law School and New York University.
