Carol Driver is responsible for Newmark’s Property Management operations and personnel in Philadelphia, with additional oversight of Southern New Jersey and Delaware, consisting of over 9 million square feet of commercial property. Her oversight includes management of suburban office, flex space, Class A high-rise properties as well as Receivership. She collaborates with the company’s leasing and investment sales professionals to grow Newmark’s management portfolio, cross-sells Newmark services and advises building owners on strategies for maximizing the value of their properties. Carol holds the LEED Green Associate credentials, which enables her to maintain an up-to-date understanding of the most current green building principles and practices. Carol also teams with local Newmark leadership to strengthen and expand client relationships throughout the region.
Carol has over 35 years of cumulative experience in commercial property management. Prior to joining Newmark, Carol was vice president for Acorn Development Corporation. In this role, she was responsible for all components of property management, including interacting with the leasing team to forecast leasing objectives; reviewing all lease proposals within a predetermined pro forma on behalf of the owner; and acting as a liaison between brokers and ownership on deals outside of the pro forma. She also performed due diligence of prospective properties and managed the disposition of properties through sale or receivership.
