Based in Chicago, Boris Shraybman serves as a managing director within Newmark’s Midwest practice. Mr. Shraybman’s main focus is on serving institutional, corporate and private clients in the sale of office and industrial assets located throughout the Midwest region. With over 12 years of industry experience, Mr. Shraybman has completed in excess of $1.5 billion of investment sales, acquisitions and corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Shraybman served as director at the capital markets services group for UGL Equis. In this capacity, he was in charge of sale-leaseback transaction execution and underwriting for corporate clients. Before UGL Equis, Mr. Shraybman was employed at Orix Real Estate Capital, the U.S. real estate investment arm of one of Japan’s largest public financial services firms. At Orix, Mr. Shraybman was instrumental in executing and underwriting 15 acquisitions totaling $300 million, including office, industrial and multi-family deals located across the United States. Prior to Orix, Mr. Shraybman was part of the Midwest Capital Markets Group at Trammell Crow Company where he was involved in sales transactions totaling $1.2 billion in value and encompassing 17 million square feet.
Mr. Shraybman received a Master’s of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with concentrations in real estate and strategy.
He graduated from the honors program at Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance. Additional fields of study included computer information systems and psychology.
