Ari Baetiong is the global lead of Newmark Knight Frank’s Transition and Governance team. Mr. Baetiong has a strong track record of over 15 years advising owners and operators in critical decision making throughout the entire real estate life cycle, with extensive experience with multinational, geographically dispersed portfolios. He leads the Transition and Governance team, with a focus on working with clients and NKF account leaders to develop smooth transitions, effective and meaningful change management, and sustainable ongoing governance throughout the course of the NKF relationship.
Mr. Baetiong oversees the onboarding of prominent new client accounts and actively participates in the ongoing governance of these accounts. Working with the service delivery team, his team develops and implements organizational processes, procedures and best practices to ultimately deliver the client experience. He is responsible for the planning, organization, direction, and control of these activities, optimizing the utilization of all cross-functional resources within NKF. Together with regional leaders, he participates in the formulation of overall service line objectives, policies and plans specific to the scope of services for each client.
Prior to Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Baetiong enjoyed a 10-year career in management consulting, most notably with Ernst & Young’s Hospitality/Real Estate M&A practice, where he specialized in hotels and mixed-use developments. He has worked exclusively with corporate real estate leaders in numerous national and multinational real estate outsourcing endeavors, from first generation events to strategic realignments and expansions. He was most recently part of CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions group and Trascent Management Consulting.
Mr. Baetiong received his BBA from George Washington University and his MBA from ESADE Business School (Spain). He is fluent in Spanish and is an experienced LEED AP.
