Andy Gallas joined Newmark Knight Frank as a senior director in the Chicago office in 2010, overseeing investment sales in the Midwest. Mr. Gallas’ primary focus is on leveraging the global platform of Newmark Knight Frank to deliver a higher level of investment sales service and expertise to his clientele.
Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Gallas served as an associate vice president at Marcus & Millichap where he began his real estate career in 2004. He was a two-time recipient of Marcus & Millichap’s Gold Sales Achievement Award (representing top 10% of producers nationwide) and in May 2007, Mr. Gallas was promoted to senior associate, a distinction recognizing ability, consistency and professionalism within the company and industry. In February 2010, Mr. Gallas was further promoted to associate vice president of investments, recognizing his exemplary career achievements. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Gallas consistently ranked among the top performers throughout Marcus & Millichap, and was the firm’s #3 Midwest Net-Leased agent in 2009.
Mr. Gallas’ focus is working with investors and owners in the disposition and acquisition of net-leased properties throughout the Midwest and across the United States. In the past 13 years, his team has exclusively listed and sold approximately $1 billion worth of commercial investment assets. Mr. Gallas is recognized as an authority on net-leased investment property trends and routinely contributes to industry publications such as the Midwest Real Estate Journal and the Illinois Real Estate Journal. He serves as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, has earned a CoStar Power Broker award as a distinguished deal maker, and is a Junior Board member of Real Change, a charity comprised of other real estate professionals.
Mr. Gallas is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He holds a degree with concentrations in economics and political science.
