Andrew Tack is a seniror managing director with NKF’s Valuation & Advisory Group, responsible for leading the company’s Institutional Valuation group out of New York City and its National Retail Practice. Over his career Mr. Tack has appraised and provided strategic consulting services for more than 1,000 regional malls throughout the country for such clients as Westfield, Simon Property Group, The Taubman Company, General Growth Properties, Pyramid Companies, Forest City Enterprises, Glimcher Realty Trust, Vornado Realty Trust, Hines, Fosterlane Management, Gregory Greenfield & Associates, Morgan Stanley, Natixis Real Estate Capital, RBS, Greenwich Capital, PNC Bank, CALPERS, New York State Common Retirement Fund, UBS Realty Investors, Prudential Insurance and DRA Advisors. Other clients have included an extensive array of owner/developers, REITS, pension funds, insurance companies and commercial and investment banks throughout the nation. Because of his exceptional experience over a 25-year period, Mr. Tack was specifically chosen to be a senior member of an elite group selected to work with the company’s institutional client base. He also is a senior member of a “quality control team” responsible for insuring the continuity and integrity of appraisal reports for managed institutional accounts and large investment grade diversified portfolios.
Prior to joining NKF, Mr. Tack spent seven years as the senior managing director at Weiser Realty Advisors (a subsidiary of WeiserMazars) where he helped build a national valuation practice, providing real estate valuation and consulting services, audit support and underwriting and acquisition due diligence on an extensive array of properties including regional shopping centers, power and community centers, office buildings, industrial facilities, multi family developments and master planned communities.
Prior to joining Weiser Realty Advisors, Mr. Tack spent 18 years as one of the senior leaders of the Landauer Real Estate Counselors national retail practice. His work with a group that pioneered the use of discounted cash flow for complex real estate assets directly contributed to the prominence of Landauer throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

Mr. Tack is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oneonta where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography and the State University of New York at Albany where he received a Master of Arts degree in Geography with a specialization in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He has successfully completed numerous real estate courses and seminars sponsored by the Appraisal Institute, accredited universities and others.
