D. Andrew Ragsdale joined Newmark in 2017 as a Senior Managing Director with the Net Lease Capital Markets group. Ragsdale and fellow net lease specialists Ken Hedrick and Jerry Hopkins work together to help lead the practice group.
Ragsdale brings to Newmark approximately nine years of corporate real estate expertise, which includes a large number of acquisitions and dispositions of single-tenant retail, industrial and office properties. A licensed attorney, Ragsdale also oversees the marketing and closing processes for his team. Together, the team has to date closed more than 325 transactions valued at more than $3 billion in sales.
Prior to Newmark, Ragsdale worked for nearly seven years at the Stan Johnson Company, a Tulsa, Oklahoma-based corporate real estate investment firm. He began his corporate real estate career at Grubb & Ellis, now a part of Newmark.
Ragsdale has contributed to a number of notable transactions nationwide involving such properties as the United Nations office building in Manhattan, a national portfolio of CVS properties, approximately 75 FedEx facilities and 40 Tractor Supply Company leased properties.

Education
Ragsdale earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Oklahoma State University.
