Alexander Beszterda serves as a financial analyst for Newmark Knight Frank’s Self Storage Group in the Houston office. He specializes in preparing investment portfolio offerings, financial analysis and modeling, market research and property valuations for investments, divestments and proposed developments. Mr. Beszterda has facilitated the valuation of more than 260 self storage facilities across 21 states. These facilities, which include stabilized, lease-up and development properties, are valued at more than $2.5 billion.
Prior to Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Beszterda managed upstream oil and gas development projects for ConocoPhillips Company, responsible for an annual capital expense budget of $50 million. In this capacity, he focused on project management, project execution, cost estimating, cost analysis and operations optimization to achieve significant cost and time savings. With prior roles in reservoir management consulting for QRI and operations project management with ConocoPhillips Canada, Mr. Beszterda brings more than 10 years of analytical work experience to the Newmark Knight Frank Self Storage Group.
Mr. Beszterda is a member of the Self Storage Association (SSA) and Urban Land Institute (ULI), and he regularly volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Mr. Beszterda graduated with distinction from the University of Calgary, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in oil and gas engineering.
