Retail expert Sara Wolfe recently joined Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s (NGKF’s) Miami office as Senior Managing Director, a strong signal to the market showing the company’s commitment to hire the brightest advisors and enhance its retail platform throughout the South Florida region. The recent hire highlights the broader effort by NGKF to bolster its scale in all major markets nationwide.
Previously a top broker for Koniver Stern Group, Ms. Wolfe specializes in restaurant and luxury brands representing both tenants and owners nationally. She also has extensive experience in retail development execution, with an expert focus on established and burgeoning markets such as Miami Beach, Wynwood, Midtown, The Design District, Brickell and Downtown.
“Sara brings deep market knowledge and the ability to understand the luxury consumer demographic, habits and trends and how those affect her clients’ strategic initiatives on a local, regional and national level,” said Jon Bourbeau, vice chairman at the NGKF Miami office. “She will add to the retail offerings we provide in South Florida and become a luxury specialist across all of our NGKF offices.”
On the tenant side, Ms. Wolfe has represented such national retailers as Crate & Barrel/CB2, Bonefish Grill, Cosi, Lululemon Athletica, LDV Hospitality (American Cut, Lugo, and Corso Coffee) and The Container Store, along with Bdry and local restaurants Burger & Beer Joint, and Shinju. She also has represented high-profile landlords and properties such as Crescent Heights, City of Miami Beach, DDR/Midtown Miami, Gansevoort South Hotel, Cobblestone Plaza and Loews Miami Beach Hotel.
“I’m thrilled to tackle new opportunities as part of NGKF’s extensive and reputable retail team, especially as Miami retail continues its steep growth trend with so many dynamic projects in development,” Ms. Wolfe said. “NGKF’s platform will allow me to expand my best-in-class services to local tenants, while tapping the full-scale strategic resources truly required for national rollouts.”
A native of Boca Raton, Fla., Ms. Wolfe received her Business Administration Degree from Florida International University with a concentration in Marketing.
