Socarrat Paella Bar has just signed a 10-year lease for its newest location at 953 Second Avenue, between 50th and 51st Streets. Located next to Pig ‘n’ Whistle on Second Avenue, this 3,800-square-foot two-story space will be the Spanish restaurant’s third and largest Manhattan location. Socarrat has existing eateries in Chelsea on West 19th Street and in Nolita on Mulberry Street.
Jared Lack, managing director, along with Amira Yunis, executive vice president and principal of Newmark’s National Retail Group, represented the tenant.
“This area of Midtown East is seeing a restaurant revival with new arrivals like The Smith Midtown, Crave Ceviche Bar, Le Pain Quotidien and La Cava Wine Bar. We are thrilled to have found Socarrat another great space to add to its existing locations,” says Lack.
