Newmark is pleased to announce that it has been nominated for the CoreNet Global Innovator Award. CoreNet Global is the leading professional association for corporate real estate, workplace and economic development professionals. The entry, a comprehensive talent migration research initiative titled, “Newmark Mines Social Solving Who, When, Where for Tech Talent,” has been recognized as a Professional Excellence Award Finalist.
The initiative, led by Senior Managing Director Rajeev Thakur, for the newly developed Global Knowledge and Innovation Center focuses on aggregating and synthesizing information to provide insights into how to drive top tech talent to other parts of the country. In keeping with the same methodology, the establishment of the Center reflects a proactive approach by Newmark to maintain its position as a premium provider of strategic advisory services, considering the continued evolution of the brokerage business.
“This important work is one of a growing list of examples of how we bring innovation, thought leadership and global strategy to our clients so that they can solve critical development challenges in this automation age,” said Craig Robinson, CEO of Newmark’s Global Corporate Services.
Each year, CoreNet Global presents the awards to leading organizations that demonstrate best-in-class practices in advancing thought leadership in corporate real estate. Judges drawn from senior leaders in the CoreNet Global Association selected winners in the Professional Excellence and Sustainable Leadership categories. The GIA competition will take place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in July 2018.
“Newmark is honored and proud to be recognized as a Global Innovator by CoreNet Global,” said Barry Gosin, Newmark CEO. “We value our relationship with CoreNet and its expansive community. This nomination recognizes Newmark’s commitment to advancement, best practices and results that we achieve for our clients around the world.”
Winners and finalists will move on to compete for the 2018 H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator’s Award (GIA), sponsored by Gensler. The overall GIA winner will be announced at the CoreNet Global North America Summit in Boston, MA on October 14 - 17.
